I am generally happy with the stove, but just wish one of the front burners was the medium size rather than both being large. I am by myself and use a lot of smaller 1 quart size pans, and find the front burners too large for them.

Needed a new stove after 30+ years. I am very happy with my new Amana stove. Love the heavy duty cast iron grates on the burners. The wide diameter of the burners cooks the food so much more evenly. The oven bakes, cooks wonderfully. Well made oven that I would reccommend to anyone.

We purchased our Amana gas range about 1 month ago. We selected it because of its simplicity and clean look. In general, we like it and it serves our needs. There are a couple flaws with the stove in my opinion. First, there are 2 large burners on the top and in the front. They are too hot for most things and require us to use a simmer ring. It would have been better to have only one of these large burners and 2 medium burners along with the smallest burner. Second, the racks in the stove aren't as stout as they could be. I noticed this when roasting a 21 lb. turkey; the rack sagged a good bit. For most applications they are sufficient, but it would be nice if they were built stronger.

3 star: The stove is great. It's important that it cooks evenly. I'm upset, angry that the buzzer is very low. Can't hear from other room (TV,radio not on), just barely hear it 5 ft away. Haven't tried, but will I hear it when loud mixer running? (I'm not hard of hearing)

Absolutely HORRIBLE !
I purchased a brand new Amanda gas stove from Home Depot. My wife was in the hospital with cancer. I was unable to be home when it was delivered. Luckily, my neighbor seen to it that it was installed while I was gone.
Two days later I used the stove for the first time. When you turn a burner on all four igniters start clicking at the same time. I immediately called Amana. FOUR HOURS on hold and never ever spoke with anyone !
Frustrated I returned to Home Depot. No help there either. The salesman called Amana and he was on hold for one hour and twenty minutes before he to got frustrated and hung up.
Never ever again will a Amana product ever be brought into my house. Manufactures warranty is worthless.
I will not give this a one star rating.

I bought the range a few months ago and I had to wait a few weeks before it was available. I was happy to finally receive it on the delivery day. It's very important to me that the broiler was in the oven and not below. The only feature I would have liked to have had was the availability for drip pans for the top of the stove. But they are not available. The range is very clean and I love it.

The stove was just what I wanted. It has a space to move pans off the burners. It also has a drawer for storage of my cookie sheets and muffin pans. The grills are easily moved to clean the stove top.

New range works fine. Problem is with grates when leaving black soot on bottom of pans after cooking. Have to scour pan bottoms so soot does not transfer to anyother surfaces. Amana help desk was no help & gave me no solution to the problem! Let's see if this note gets read & help is provided.

I love my Amana Stove. I love the brand Amana, it fits my budget perfectly, it's a good product and have always lasted me for years. I also purchased an Amana microwave and dryer at the same time I bought my stove. I don't like my appliances with a lot of features on them that I don't/won't use. Amana products are simply to use and not a lot of reading to learn them.

We replaced our original GE gas grill that lasted nearly 5o years!
Amana had one that was reasonable, with all the right features and very good looks and construction.
We have been using it daily since it was installed and can only say positive things about it. It lights properly, heats rapidly, bakes and grills beautifully and keeps remarkably clean in the process! We give this cooking appliance 5 stars and recommend it to all gas stove customers.

Replaced a 20-year-old Kenmore gas stove.
Probably won't ever use the self-cleaning function but the extra insulation around the oven seems to keep the temperature more accurate and less heat escaping into the kitchen.
Both front burners are high heat, and I wish the medium burner was at the front. Water boils very rapidly on the front burners but you have to watch cooking on the front burners very closely or you can over cook. I haven't used the small burner yet. It weighed quite a bit more than the old Kenmore and seems well-built.

I bought this stove 2 months ago, I wonder why the oven ignites every 2 minutes or so. Is that right? That doesn't seem like a good thing. Also I don't like the burners, the big ones in front are too big and it's hard to get a flame low enough to simmer. Overall I am not happy with this stove plus I'm pretty sure I paid way too much. I would never buy another Amana.

This is a very good stove for the money. I would have preferred that the medium size burner was in front so I would not have to reach over a large pan or skillet. I would have liked another medium burners instead of the small one. I do like the heavy two piece grates on each side. They are much easier to handle and clean. The storage drawer could be larger but it is adequate.

I'm very mixed on how I feel about this product. First off, I wonder if this was intended for an Asian market. The reason I question this is because it has two large burners in the front. American cooking, as is the same with the majority of the western world, needs one large high heat burner and one smaller, lower heat burner in the front. The reason this is necessary is because one is used for searing, and the other is used for lower, through cooking that you need to keep an eye on. Often, a food item is seared then switched to the lower temp burner to finish off the cooking. That is not possible with this stove in this position. You have to move it to a back burner which makes it harder to keep an eye on your food. Another downside, is that both high flame burners are much higher than any normal stove. This would be great for the Asian market where the majority of their cookware is made with carbon steel but for regular stainless steel cookware, even the pricy multi-ply pots and pans like what I own, cannot handle that level of heat. As a result, much of my cookware is getting destroyed. There is also a danger with such a high flame stove, in that passing your hand over the stove to get to the panel in the back can ignite your clothing if you happen to be wearing a long sleeve. I would suggest before you even consider doing that to turn off the burners in the front first to avoid a potential tragedy. As for the oven, it works well. I like the fact that the broiler is on the top inside the oven, as opposed to the bottom where the drawer is outside the oven, so I do not have to remove what I am baking to brown it up in the broiler. I like the draw on the bottom where I can store pot lids, but do not fill it up too much or you can block the ignition, and the oven won't light, which has happened to me already. A service man came and told me about that. One thing I do think can be better is that the timer buzzer should be louder. It is way too low, and it should be continuous until you turn it off. As is, it only goes off twice, but so low that you can miss it if you happen to have something else making noise at the time. Also, you should be able to adjust the oven temp without having to press the start button either. That is a little issue but annoying none the less. Other than that, this stove is okay, but I would have gotten something different if I could have found a stove with the broiler in the oven as opposed to where the bottom drawer is, which is how most of them are being made now. Overall, an okay product, cheaply made, that will do the job, but you must be very careful and alert using it. I hope Amana will take my suggestions seriously when designing their stoves in the future.

I like the range, but the low flame does not get low enough. Also, the bottom tray is much smaller than my previous range and I cannot store my broiler pan in it. This range did not come with a broiler pan, so I'm glad I saved my old one.

Wish the timer volume could b louder. I™™m hard of hearing. I had something in the oven baking. I set the timer. When it went off I didn™™t hear it. I looked over in the over. The timer was off and I didn™™t hear it. I called my service man. He checked and he said u can™™t turn up the volume. Also wish the burners weren™™t so deep

Have noticed a few problems with our stove. When opening the oven door there doesn't seem to be any resistance and the door just wants to fall open. When leaning onto the front of the stove to clean off the back of the stove or tile behind the stove the burner knob gets leaned against and the burner starts which is very dangerous and could start clothing on fire. Should have to push the knob in with some pressure and then turn on. The drawer on the bottom of the stove does not slide easily and sounds so tinny.

I am having trouble with my new stove they have come out to see what the problem is to see if they can fix it. There is extreme heat that is coming out of the top vent when the oven is on. The preheat is shutting off 100 degrees before it is ready and the burner in the oven comes off and on every two minutes.

So far, I'm well pleased with my amana range. There are a couple of things that aren't deal breakers but could be improved upon. The burners burn too high, but I have been able to adjust them some according to the directions in the manual. Also, it would be better it the burner control knobs were on the upper back panel instead of down low as I've turned them on a time or two unintentionally. Would be nice to have a delay start feature.

I decided to purchase a basic easy to use control panel white gas stove, the burners have their own separate grates, thus so easy to keep clean. Such a prefect easy to use stove. Wish I had bought this years earlier.
My previous fairly newer stove (different brand) had those very heavy double grates that wouldn't fit in the sink, and there too many choices on the control panel, plus the waist high burner knobs on front would turn on too easily when bumped. Glad that stove is gone.
